Meet the Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva, voted best vermouth in Spain

At Bodegas Yzaguirre we are starting the year in style. Just a few days ago, our exceptional Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva was recognized as the best in Spain in its category by the Spanish Association of Wine and Spirits Journalists and Writers (AEPEV). A distinction that has come as a pleasant surprise, since it is based on the votes of the 196 members of the AEPEV, with no previous nominations.

This milestone takes on a special meaning this 2024, as we celebrate our 140 years of history. Since our beginnings in Reus in 1884, we have remained faithful to the traditional elaboration of our products, combining exclusive formulas with innovations that have kept us at the forefront of the wine sector. Our ambition to offer the best taste led us to be the first winery in Spain to launch a Vermouth Reserva and, today, it fills us with joy to see it recognized.

The formula behind the unique taste of our Yzaguirre Vermouth is a well-kept secret that follows the traditional recipe, but the real magic lies in the selection of an excellent base wine and the careful elaboration of the extract of botanical components of the vermouth, thus maintaining our roots.
