Vermouth Yzaguirre, honored with four Vinari 2024 awards

For more than a decade, the Vinari Awards have distinguished excellence in the production of Catalan wines, sparkling wines and vermouths. With the aim of bringing quality to the end consumer, a panel of renowned tasters evaluates and assesses the samples presented, while a specialized jury rewards the best wine tourism initiatives.

This year, Vermouth Yzaguirre has stood out in the Vinari 2024 Awards, receiving a total of four awards in different categories, which is a true recognition of our dedication to excellence and innovation in the production of vermouths.

Vermouth Yzaguirre Blanco - Vinari Gran Or (White Vermouth Category):

Yzaguirre White Vermouth has been awarded the prestigious Vinari Gran Or, the highest recognition in the White Vermouth category. This vermouth is distinguished by its intense aroma of aromatic herbs and spices. With light hints of vanilla and cinnamon, it is smooth and pleasant in the mouth.

Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva Limited Edition 130th Anniversary - Vinari D'Or (Reserve Vermouth Category):

Vermouth Yzaguirre's 130th anniversary commemorative limited edition, has been awarded the Vinari D'Or in the Reserve Vermouth category. Dark amber in color, with citrus and spicy nuances on the nose, it presents a perfect balance on the palate, and pays great honor to its tradition and dedication.

Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva - Silver Vinari (Reserve Vermouth Category):

In addition to its limited edition, Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva has also been recognized with the Vinari de Plata in the Vermuts Reserva category. This variety, dark amber in color, very aromatic, velvety and pleasant on the palate, with notes of herbs, spices and citrus, has been aged for twelve months in oak barrels to give it consistency and character.

Vermouth Yzaguirre Herbal Vintage - Vinari de Plata (Innovative Vermouth Category):

Last but not least, the Vinari de Plata in the Innovative Vermouths category went to Vermouth Yzaguirre Herbal Vintage, which recovers the original formula from the late 19th century and is aged using the traditional solera system. Its dark and bright amber color, sweet and spicy aroma, with a touch of fresh citrus, make it a harmonious and penetrating drink, with spicy and quinine nuances.
